Type of data processed and the purpose of processing

Data provided voluntarily by users/visitors: personal data sent directly and voluntarily by users/visitors, connecting to the site, to access certain services or to make specific requests by e-mail by filling in the “form” of contact.
This involves the acquisition by Lumina Italia S.r.l. of the sender’s address and/or any other personal data that will be processed exclusively to respond to the request, or for the provision of the service. The use of the email address provided by the user/visitor to send specific promotional emails and/or newsletters linked to the activity of the Data Controller is subject to the express consent of the user/visitor when completing the aforementioned contact form.

The c.d. Legal basis of the processing
The Data Controller applies as the legal basis for processing the need to process personal data for the purpose of executing a specific request made by the user/visitor; for promotional purposes, the legal basis of the processing is based on consent.
Personal data is processed by automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
Storage of personal data
Navigation data: these data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this possibility, the data on web contacts do not persist for more than seven days.
Data provided voluntarily by users/visitors: the personal data collected will be retained until the specific request made by the user/visitor and/or until the user/visitor revokes the consent given is satisfied.
Cookies: the c.d. Session cookies are not stored permanently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed.
Optional supply of data
Apart from that specified for navigation data, users/visitors are free to provide their data. Failure to provide such data may only result in the impossibility of obtaining what is requested.
The provision of data for promotional purposes is not mandatory. Failure to provide consent for this purpose will not affect the satisfaction of the requests of the user/visitor.
