Privacy Policy for site visitors

This Privacy Policy is intended to describe the management of this site, concerning the processing of personal data of users/visitors who consult it. This is information that is also provided according to art.13 of Reg. UE 679/2016 – European Regulation on the protection of personal data – to those who connect to the corporate website of Lumina Italia S.r.l. and use the relative web services starting from the address www.lumina .it. The informative is provided only for the aforementioned website and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user through specific links. The www.lumina.it site is owned by Lumina Italia S.r.l., the Data Controller of the personal data (hereinafter the “Data Controller”) which guarantees compliance with the aforementioned legislation, basing the treatment on the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of the confidentiality and fundamental rights of users/visitors.

Type of data processed and the purpose of processing

  1. Navigation data: data used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by their nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified (e.g. IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site).
  2. Data provided voluntarily by users/visitors: personal data sent directly and voluntarily by users/visitors, connecting to the site, to access certain services or to make specific requests by e-mail by filling in the “form” of contact.
  3. This involves the acquisition by Lumina Italia S.r.l. of the sender’s address and/or any other personal data that will be processed exclusively to respond to the request, or for the provision of the service. The use of the email address provided by the user/visitor to send specific promotional emails and/or newsletters linked to the activity of the Data Controller is subject to the express consent of the user/visitor when completing the aforementioned contact form.
  4. Cookies: cookies are not used to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are c.d. persistent cookies of any kind, or system for tracking users. The use of c.d. Session cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow a safe and efficient exploration of the site. The c.d. Session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other IT techniques that are potentially prejudicial to the privacy of users’ browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user.

Legal basis of the processing

The Data Controller applies as the legal basis for processing the need to process personal data for the purpose of executing a specific request made by the user/visitor; for promotional purposes, the legal basis of the processing is based on consent.

Treatment modalities

Recipients of personal data

The data collected will no be transferred neither in the Member States of the European Union nor in third countries not belonging to the European Union.
